I’m running for Congress to preserve our country
Politics is dirty business. Because of this, good people often stay on the sidelines – not fully engaging the system, oftentimes, waiting for someone else to fix it. As such, a vacuum has been created in our society that is being filled by some of the most foolish policies that do nothing to secure our borders, lower our taxes, get us out of endless wars, gives us jobs, or create a culture that nurtures up the next generation. Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men [and women] do nothing.”
I am running for Congress because I believe it’s time for “good” people to once more fill this void.

El viaje de mi vida representa todo lo bueno de este país. Crecí en una granja de cerdos en el sur de Alabama en una ciudad con una señal de pare en un rincón tranquilo y rústico del mundo. Nunca supe lo empobrecidos que estábamos hasta que crecí. Cuando mi abuela me pedía que la ayudara en el jardín, pensé que solo quería pasar tiempo de calidad conmigo. In order for a society to be successful its citizens must feel safe. It is beyond disturbing that so many Democratic politicians, including my opponent, Madeleine Dean, have intentionally confused “peaceful protestors” with “rioters” and “anarchists.” There is no justification for the destruction we are witnessing all across our nation. No one is above the law.
